According to Reuters, jurors in Paul Manafort's trial for tax and bank fraud ended their first day of deliberations.
The former Trump campaign chairman faces 18 counts of tax fraud, bank fraud, and failure to disclose a foreign bank account.
The six men and six women met for seven hours at the federal courthouse in Alexandria, Virginia, before ending their deliberations for the day.
The case is the first stemming from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the 2016 election.
