Bus Driver Finds 2-Year-Old Lost and Crying on Milwaukee Street

A Milwaukee public bus driver helped reunite a lost toddler with her mother on the morning of August 4 after coming across the two-year-old girl running and crying on a street, according to the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS).Footage released by the MCTS on August 15 shows the moment bus driver Diana Serrano and another driver happened upon the girl on Lapham Boulevard, close to Interstate 43. The other driver is seen waving Serrano down after stepping from his car and lifting the girl into his arms. Serrano took the girl inside the bus, called for help, and calmed the girl by showing her pictures of puppies on her phone, the MCTS said. The girl’s mother showed up and was reunited with her daughter.The MCTS said eight lost or missing children had been found by MCTS drivers in less than two years and included clips of some of those children being found at the end of this video.
