Spotify CEO Says Employees Do Not Do Same Job For More Than Two Years

According to Business Insider, Spotify CEO Daniel Ek thinks of jobs at Spotify as “missions.” He explained this as performing a job for a number of years and then moving on to the next step. Ek said employees may have the same title but don’t do the same job for more than two years. The CEO said that many employees leave the company to pursue their true passions elsewhere. This work strategy is mean to boost retention and tamp down on job-hopping.
