Florida 'Stand Your Ground' Gunman Charged With Manslaughter

Reuters reported that a Florida man was charged with manslaughter on Monday for fatally shooting another man during an argument over a parking spot. The police initially declined to arrest the alleged 47-year-old shooter due to the state’s “stand your ground” self-defense law. The 2005 law grants Florida residents the right to use deadly force if they reasonably believe they're at risk of great harm or death.
