Heavy flooding in the Philippines failed to dampen the spirits of a young couple, who exchanged their vows in a flooded church in Bulacan, north of Manila, on Saturday August 11.On Saturday morning, Jobel de los Angeles left her family home in Sagrada Familia, hoisting up her white dress while wading through ankle-deep floodwaters in an attempt to reach the Santo Rosario Parish Church to marry Jefferson, the father of her two children and her partner of seven years. The 24-year-old bride told the AFP that she took a boat to the church after a taxi refused to take her, while the groom wore flip-flops with his suit.Video taken by the bride’s aunt, Teresa Halipot, shows the her walking through flooded streets and down the aisle.
