Drops the
Pledge of Allegiance Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School says it will stop reciting the Pledge of Allegiance as part of its morning agenda. School president Lara Zelski says the decision was made “in an effort to begin our day as a fully inclusive and connected community." Lara Zelski, via 'Atlanta Journal-Constitution' Students will be given the opportunity to say the pledge at another point during the school day. The school adds students will continue to be asked to stand for its
"Wolf Pack Chant" each morning.
