In a recent interview, President Trump's National Security Adviser said he had spoken to his South Korean counterpart about the investigation into allegations North Korean coal was brought into the South last year, which would be a breach of UN sanctions.
And on Wednesday,... Seoul's top office responded.
Chung Eui-yong says did not receive any complaints from John Bolton... about those coal imports.
According to the Cheong Wa Dae, Bolton is fully supportive of the ongoing probe.
The presidential office added, comments from the U.S. State Department reaffirmed the partnership between the two allies,... stressing, they are working to carry out the UN Security Council resolutions on Pyongyang.
