Hello I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update. Today is Ipchu, which according to Korea's 24 traditional divisions of the year, marks the start of autumn.
But the nation is still sizzling hot with showers in places. Similar weather is expected tomorrow,... hot and sticky. But it will be cooler in cities in nearby countries.
Speaking of showers,...the estimated amount of rain tomorrow is between 5 and 50 millimeters,... but it'll vary by region,... and some will even get thunder and lightning.
Even when it's not raining it'll still be cloudy nationwide. Seoul beginning the morning at 28, Daegu and Gyeongju at 25 and 24 degrees respectively.
The afternoon highs in Seoul will peak at 35, while it will be slightly hotter in Gwangju and Daegu topping 36 degrees.
Until now, Seoul has been experiencing tropical nights for 17 days in a row, and the heat waves has stretched to 21 days,... and it looks like we'll have to endure this uncomfortable weather until next week.
