There has been a recent backlash against plastic straws. Business Insider reports, "For years, the world has been relying on the ocean as a dumping ground for our plastic waste." Recently, a video of sea turtle having a plastic straw pulled out of its noses have inspired millions to urge for the ban of plastic straws. This ban receive criticism, because some people with handicaps need plastic straws. Despite this, believers of the cause are asking people to at least stop using plastic straws.
