Finance Minister Kim Dong-yeon is visiting Samsung Electronics for the first time since his inauguration last June.
The Finance Ministry says Kim will meet with Samsung Group's heir Lee Jae-yong at 10 a.m. at its semiconductor plant in Pyongtaek, south of Seoul.
They are expected to discuss deregulation and the push for innovative growth.
It's the fifth time the minister has visited a Korean company to meet with its heir, after previously visiting LG Group, Hyundai Motor, SK Group and Shinsegae.
