Police Officers Fired for Using Coin Toss
to Determine Arrest Two police officers caught on video flipping a virtual coin to determine if a speeding motorist would go to jail have been fired. The driver ended up being handcuffed and placed in the back of the police patrol car. Before being terminated, officers Courtney Brown and Kristee Wilson of the Roswell Police Department in Georgia, had been placed on administrative
leave. On July 9, the charges against Sarah Webb, the motorist in question, were dismissed. According to reports, the incident happened back
in April. The officers weren't put on leave until Atlanta's WXIA began asking questions about it earlier this month.
