Top commanders of South Korea's entire armed forces,... including the Marine Corps.... will gather at the nation's top office later this afternoon for a meeting with President Moon Jae-in.
Chaired by the president,... one of the key agenda is expected to be military reform... which is one of the Commander-in-Chief's key policy initiatives.
Since taking office in May last year,... President Moon has been calling for efforts to eradicate what he calls deep-rooted corruption in the military and the defense industry.
Friday's meeting will be attended by some 1-hundred-and-80 officials..... including Defense Minister Song Young-moo,.... Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Jeong Kyeong-doo,.... Commander-in-Chief of the ROK-U.S. Combined Forces, Vincent Brooks,.... President Moon's Chief of Staff Im Jong-seok,.... and the President's National Security Adviser Chung Eui-yong.
