President Trump on Tuesday floated the idea of no trade barriers between the US and the European Union.

President Trump on Tuesday proposed the removal of trade barriers between the US and the European Union.
"The European Union is coming to Washington tomorrow to negotiate a deal on Trade. I have an idea for them. Both the U.S. and the E.U. drop all Tariffs, Barriers and Subsidies! That would finally be called Free Market and Fair Trade! Hope they do it, we are ready - but they won't!" Trump tweeted.
He had made a similar suggestion last month after the G-7 summit.
"You want a tariff-free, you want no barriers, and you want no subsidies, because you have some cases where countries are subsidizing industries, and that's not fair," Trump told reporters.
"So you go tariff-free, you go barrier-free, you go subsidy-free," he continued. "That's the way you learned at the Wharton School of Finance. I mean, that would be the ultimate thing."
