During the Lok Sabha debate on the no-cofidence motion against the Modi government on Friday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said the Opposition had no ground to move the motion in the first place.
BJP MP Rakesh Singh criticised the motion during the no-confidence motion debate in Lok Sabha. He said the no-confidence motion this time was different from the ones filed ever before. He said some of the problems the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has cited to justify the motion were actually a result of the Congress-led UPA government of previous years.
