Facebook and AMC Theatres Team Up for
Ticket Purchases Moviegoers can now purchase AMC movie tickets directly on Facebook. The service has been implemented at a
handful of AMC locations nationwide and
will become available at all locations soon. Facebook's new ticketing platform allows users to search for movies, locations and showtimes. Once a selection has been made, the user
can choose the AMC ticketing platform
and finish their transaction after being
redirected to the AMC Theatres page. AMC is the first movie theatre to work directly with Facebook in this way. There is currently an introductory promotion,
where the online ticketing fees are waived
