Seoul court to decide if and how much Korea is responsible for Sewol-ho ferry disaster

How much responsibility does South Korea as a whole bear for the nation's worst maritime disaster: the Sewol-ho Ferry sinking?
The Seoul Central District Court will release its verdict on Thursday on whether or not the state is responsible for the 2014 sinking that killed 304 people, mostly high school students.
The ruling will be the first of its kind since the family members of the victims filed a compensation suit in late 2015.
A total of 354 family members are the plaintiffs in the case.
The verdict hearing started around 15 minutes ago.
We'll bring you more details as we get them.
