Good morning, Mark. Yes, Seochogu-district saw the high soaring to 35.5 degrees Celsius yesterday, and it's forecast to be as hot or hotter today.

Heat wave alerts have been issued for five consecutive days in Seoul,... while it's been more than a week for southern provinces.

And the cruel heatwave boiling the nation shows no sign of easing up. Next week,... Seoul will see highs hovering around 35 to 36 degrees. Scorching heat is taking a toll on thousands of farm animals as well.

What's more, the hottest areas in Korea, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province and the city of Daegu will have another day with high levels of ultrafine dust.

For a closer look at today's temperatures, Seoul and Daejeon are waking up to a low of 24 degrees.

Intense sunshine and high humidity will make it feel hotter than the actual temperatures, Seoul will get up to 34 degrees, Gwangju 36. Be sure to apply a good amount of sunblock and stay hydrated.
