Protests Held in Chicago After Man Fatally Shot by Police Over the weekend, protestors faced off with Chicago police after an officer shot and killed a man in the city's South Side. At least four people were arrested and several officers were injured Saturday night following several skirmishes. Authorities say a weapon at the scene of the shooting was found, but the man did not fire his gun at officers. The officers involved in the incident will be placed on routine administrative duties for 30 days. Chicago's Civilian Office of Police Accountability says its committed to a thorough, objective and unbiased investigation of the shooting. The city's residents have taken to the streets many times recently to protest
police-involved shootings.
