Man Couldn't Unlock His Phone; Jailed 180 Days

Gizmodo reports that a "routine traffic stop has quickly escalated into a civil rights case in a Florida courtroom after a man was put behind bars this week for failing to unlock his phone." The man's name is William Montanez and was sentence 180 days in jail, because he couldn't remember the passwords of two phones the judge wanted him to unlock for the court and police to review. He was sentenced under the crime of civil contempt.
