United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres says he sees the talks between North Korea and the U.S. on denuclearization as "very good possibilities" that could "lead to a positive solution"... despite the "ups and downs along the way."
In a news conference held Thursday, the UN chief said he sees the denuclearization talks as a complex but essential process for global peace and security... and that all UN bodies, including its nuclear agency, will remain available for assistance.
Guterres asked all countries in the region to help facilitate talks so that agreements can be reached on the peaceful denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
