Members of the nation's Presidential Committee for Northern Economic Cooperation will be crossing the border later this week.
They were invited by Pyongyang's economic cooperation committee.
Today, Seoul's unification ministry approved their trip.
11 South Koreans including the committee's chair Song Young-gil... are going on the two-day visit which starts this Friday.
The group will travel to the northeastern border region of Rason,... attend an economy-related seminar hosted by Russia,... then check out the local industrial area including the Rajin port.
