S. Korea's top nuclear envoy to visit Washington for North Korea talks

Following the recent visit to Pyongyang by U.S. Secretary of States Mike Pompeo, South Korea's top nuclear envoy is set to visit Washington this week.
Seoul's foreign ministry says Lee Do-hoon, the special representative for Korean Peninsula peace and security affairs, will be in the U.S. from Wednesday to Saturday,... to meet his counterparts, including Alex Wong, the State Department's deputy assistant secretary for East Asian affairs,... as well as Matthew Pottinger, National Security Council senior director for Asian affairs.
The allies will share their views on the latest developments,... and discuss ways to achieve peace and denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula.
