Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia has pitched for fixed terms for Prime Ministers and Chief Ministers like the American model. Scindia said that he is against the system of extensions and also aversive to extensions given to retired bureaucrats. The statement from Scindia comes at a time when the bugle is already sounding for 2019 elections.
