At least 53 people were reported missing after a tourist boat capsized off the coast of Phuket, Thailand, on Thursday, July 5.At least one person has died following the disaster on board ‘The Phoenix’, the Bangkok Post reported. The boat, carrying about 90 people, capsized in rough seas on its return to Chalong Pier from Koh Racha, the report said. Most of the passengers were Chinese tourists.These videos captured by eyewitness David Cook show ambulances travelling through neighbouring Cape Panwa to the pier to assist with the rescue operation.There were at least two other boat accidents involving 41 people in the same waters on Thursday, the Phuket News reported.
