Pittsburgh Residents Warned to Stay Off Roads Amid Heavy Flooding

A flash-flood watch was in effect for most of western Pennsylvania on July 5 after heavy rains brought flooding to the Pittsburgh area.More flooding is expected July 5 as storms continue to sweep over the area, according to WPXI News. The National Weather Service issued a flash-flood warning until July 6.This video shows the flooding in Pittsburgh as an official from the Millvale Volunteer Fire Department warns residents to stay off the roads.Some areas of Pittsburgh experienced around three inches of rain by July 5, according to a local meteorologist from WTAE Pittsburgh.Damage from the storm was reported, including a house that was hit by a tree, uprooted trees and stranded cars.More than 18,000 people were without power on July 4, CBS Pittsburgh reported.
