The sweltering heat will ease today and there'll be some monsoon showers.
Inland regions will see passing showers but they could come down heavy... while most of the southern regions will see 5 to 40 millimeters of monsoon rain but that should let up in the afternoon.
There'll be a break from the heat with temperatures topping out at 29 degrees Celsius in Seoul and Daejeon, it's a little warmer in Gwangju at 30 degrees.
Frequent rain is in store for Jeju Island, Seoul will be warm and humid until the weekend.
