Boaters on a whale-watching tour near Flinders Bay, Western Australia, had an incredible experience when a pod of five humpback whales got up close and personal with them on June 23.In footage released by tour company Naturaliste Charters, a whale is seen peeping its head out of the water beside the boat as if to interact with the people on board. The video was captured during the animals’ annual migration to the north, ABC reported.Marine biologist Bianca Uyen told Storyful the inquisitive animals are becoming more and more familiar with humans and boats with each whale watching season.
