More than 100 baby cobras found at a farmer's house in Odisha

Snakebite deaths, declared as state-specific disaster, account for about 37 per cent of the total number of disaster deaths in the Odisha. On 22nd June, as many as 140 snake hatchlings were found in a house in Shyamsundarpur village of Odisha's Bhadrak district at a farmer's house. The entire village is in a shock. The family called the state’s local NGO Snake Helpline for help. A team of volunteers and forest officials rushed to the spot to take the snakes out of the house.
