Biographie du réalisateur : Après avoir publié un recueil de nouvelles au Québec, Hélène Bureau, passionnée d’art et de littérature, quitte l’Alsace pour intégrer l’école de cinéma et audiovisuel 3iS (Institut International de l’Image et du Son). Ses trois ans de formation et sa spécialisation en scénario lui ont donné l’occasion d’améliorer son style d’écriture sur différents projets audiovisuels, lui permettant de signer, à 21 ans, son premier court-métrage : La Gardienne, un film fantastique en huis-clos.
Director's biography: Leaving Alsace, after publishing a novel series in Quebec at 18, Hélène BUREAU, now 21, joined 3iS (International Institute of Picture & Sound – fully dedicated to films realization & production). She wrote a roman (still to be published) and a poems collection. The three year screenplay training course she followed there helps her to improve her writing style with different audiovisual projects : scenarios series, but also a short film she was called to direct as well : The Guardian, a fantastic film in a claustrophobic atmosphere.
