At 16, Joséphine has her first life experiences despite parental authority. Separated from a brother that has been pushed aside from the family life, she continues in a dangerous fashion to test and push her boundaries, and gradually asks herself what drives her to act like she does...

Biographie du réalisateur
Nina Allimann est née en 1995 en Seine Saint-Denis. Elle étudie dans un ly-cée à Rambouillet, où elle obtient en 2013 son bac ES avec mention. Pas-sionnée d’art, elle apprend le dessin, la guitare et le piano, puis intègre l’Institut International de l’Image et du Son (3IS) en 2013, où elle se spécialise en mise en scène de 2015 à 2016.
Elle y réalise un premier court métrage qui dénonce le harcèlement moral à l’école « Les Ecorchés ». Puis elle effectue des stages à la télévision et en production, où elle découvre les métiers de scripte et réalisateur tv et est formée à l’assistanat de production.
Influencée par le cinéma de Kechiche et des frères Dardenne, pour son projet de fin de 2ème année, elle réalise le troisième épisode d’une mini-série sociale de 4 épisodes de 10 min, « Les Insurgés de Marax ».
En 2015, elle se tourne vers un cinéma plus expérimental et indépendant, et co-écrit puis réalise « Borders », son court-métrage de fin d’études, pour le-quel elle aura réalisé un mini-documentaire de recherche.
Director’s biography
Nina Allimann was born in 1995 in Seine Saint-Denis. She went to high school in Rambouillet, where she obtained her « French baccalauréat » in econo-mic and social sciences with honors in 2013. Fascinated by the arts, she learned to draw, play the guitar and the piano, and then integrated the In-ternational Institute of Image and Sound (3iS) in 2013, before specializing in directing from 2015 till 2016.
While at 3iS she made her first short film which denounced the moral ha-rassment in schools : " Les Ecorchés ". She then did an internship in television and in production, where she discovered the jobs of continuity girl, televi-sion director and production assistant.
Influenced by the cinema of Kechiche and the Dardenne brothers, she made the third episode of a social mini-series of 4 episodes of 10 min, « Les Insurgés de Marax » for her 2nd year project.
In 2015, she turned to a more experimental and independent cinema, and co-wrote and shot "Borders", her short film for the end of her studies, for whom she will have directed a research based mini-documentary.
