Sarah Sanders Says Trump Administration Doesn't 'Make Up Laws' Like Obama

Sarah Sanders took a jab at the Obama administration during Monday's press briefing.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Monday simultaneously defended the Trump administration and criticized former President Barack Obama.  The topic being discussed at a press briefing was immigration and what President Trump may or may not be changing.  Sanders commented, "Are we walking around making up laws? No, because we're not the Obama administration."  "We're actually trying to enforce the laws that are on the books," Sanders continued. "We're actually asking Congress to do their part in the process, and pass new legislation that will fix our immigration system."
When specifically asked if Trump is serious about removing judges from the immigration process or is simply complaining, Sanders replied, "Things that we have the ability to do administratively we are working to do. But again, Congress is the only one that has the ability to write law, and we hope they'll do that this week."  In a Sunday tweet, Trump proposed immediate deportation of illegal immigrants in lieu of court involvement.  "We cannot allow all of these people to invade our Country," Trump wrote. "When somebody comes in, we must immediately, with no Judges or Court Cases, bring them back from where they came."
