Passengers on an AirAsia India flight from Kolkata to Bagdogra had a harrowing time after they were left in lurch. Passengers allege they were deplaned, after the flight was delayed and grounded by over four hours. Passengers also alleged that there were not even provided water and food by the airlines and when they refused to deboard the plane due to heavy rains, air conditioner was put on full blast to hound the passengers out. The Airlines has issued a statement and clarified that the flight was delayed due to a technical requirement and that the priority was safety.
