According to the Associated Press, Northwestern University revoked Bill Cosby's honorary degree.
The vote to revoke Cosby's Honuorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree was unanimous.
It is the first time in the university's 167-year history that a bestowed degree has been revoked.
Located in Chicago's suburb of Evanston, the university's board of trustees made the decision due to Cosby's conviction for sexual assault.
