Hello, I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update. It was scorching hot today with the highs going over 3 degrees above the seasonal average. Because of the unstable weather, some of the southern regions will be getting some showers tonight. As for tomorrow, it will get cloudier into the day, but it'll still be as hot as today.
As for Jeju Island,... the monsoon front is approaching. Jeju and the surrounding regions will get 10 to 40 millimeters of rain overnight. Heavy monsoon rain is expected next week.
Tomorrow morning, Seoul starts at 19 degrees Celsius, Daegu 20, Gyeongju 18.
In the afternoon, it goes up to 28 in Seoul, Gwangju and Busan are lower at 26 and 24 degrees.
The sweltering daytime highs won't ease through the week, so take good care under the burning sun.
