Now we turn to our Michelle Park at the weather center for the latest updates. Michelle, tomorrow will be the last day of early voting for next week's elections here in Korea. Is the weather going to cooperate?
We are generally expecting a cloudy but hot Saturday afternoon in Seoul. However, the southern regions that have been under a heat wave are going to be cooler due to the easterly wind,... and because they can expect some rain in the evening.
The regions getting the most rain -- between 5 and 20 millimeters -- will be Jeju, northern Gyeonggi-do and the eastern part of Gangwon-do Province. In other part's it'll be about 5 millimeters. This will continue through Sunday morning.
Seoul will wake up to 18 degrees Celsius,... with similar readings across most parts of the country.
The sky will get cloudier as the day goes on, with Seoul rising up to 28 degrees, Gwangju reaching 30, while Jeju is cooled down by the rain, rising only up to 25 degrees.
Tomorrow's rain will start from Jeju and the west coast,... eventually spreading out across the whole country by early Sunday morning. Until Monday, the mercury will stay somewhat cooler than usual, but afterward, we'll get back the scorching summer heat.
