Hello, I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update. The scorching sun pumped up the mercury in the northwest and the capital region today, whereas the southwest is expecting more showers. Tomorrow, the nation will be free from all precipitation so it will be hot but the eastern regions will remain cool due to the strong wind.
We will wake up to sunny skies,... with Seoul beginning at 17 degrees Celsius, Daegu and Gyeongju are partly cloudy at 15 degrees.
The UV levels are going to be higher than today,... Seoul topping out at 28, Gwangju is hotter at 29 and Busan comfortable at 23 degrees.
There is no sign of rain until next week,... just high UV levels lingering under the strong sun. So make sure to take precautions.
Meanwhile, the Russia World Cup continues at the Ekaterinburg Arena tonight. There is a 40 percent chance of showers with temperatures in the teens. There is a bit of a wind to it, so it'll be a bit chilly for those of you watching the game.
