Good morning. Those of us in Seoul are waking up to wet roads again this morning...but you won't need an umbrella.
Rain clouds that were hovering over North Korea spread to the South overnight, so Seoul and upper parts of Gangwon-do Province received light rainfall but there won't be any more precipitation.
But that overnight rainfall won't help us have relatively cool conditions, highs in the west will rise to nearly 30 degrees Celsius while regions in the east will stay cool, thanks to easterly winds.
For a closer look, morning lows in Seoul and Busan are seeing 18 degrees. Gyeongju and Chuncheon 16 degrees.
Daily highs in Seoul and Gwangju will get up to 29 degrees Celsius, while Daegu and Gyeongju will have cooler highs than Thursday at 23 and 21 degrees. Gwangju is forecast to see passing showers in the evening.
