Leper slum dwellings in Delhi's Jeevan Deep Ashram in RK Puram which houses around 188 people have been facing high power bills. The colony was charged Rs 8 lakh so far this year. In a bid to grant them some relief BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi has come forward to provided each house a solar panel, fan and 2 led bulbs. Incidentally the ashram also houses a temple, chapel, a dispensary, aaganwadi and a community kitchen. The residents have now lauded the government for their efforts to light up their homes.
