Hello, I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update. There are high concentrations of ultra-fine dust today and on top of that, there's another heat wave over Korea. In this kind of weather, you should drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Heat waves advisories are expected again tomorrow, especially in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province.
Under this kind of heat, with the mercury boosting up to nearly 30 degrees Celsius tomorrow, high ozone and UV levels are expected, so avoid the busy roads and try to stay in the shade when you are outside.
In the morning, the temperatures are still warm at 18 degrees Celsius in Seoul, Daegu and Gyeongju slightly higher at 20 and 19 degrees respectively.
During the peak hours, Seoul's temperature will rise to 27 degrees, Gwangju 30, and Busan 25 degrees.
The sweltering hot weather is expected to continue until Saturday,... but there will be nationwide rain on Sunday to give us a little break from the heat.
