Angry protesters greet Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu during UK visit

A small but angry protest greeted the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on June 4 as he arrived in London to meet with UK Prime Minister Theresa May.

Some Pro-Palestinian protestors carried a coffin painted in Palestinian colours across the street to the gates of Downing Street. In the video, which was captured by a freelance journalist, they can be heard chanting "Netanyahu? Not welcome!"

Pro-Israel protesters were also present at the scene.

Stop The Coalition convenor Lindsey German said, “We’ve seen that they have organised these great marches for return, the right to return. They have a right to return under international law because they are refugees and they have been refugees for the past 70 years since they were driven from their houses and of their land by the establishment of the state of Israel.”
