Terminally-ill tot has dying wish of owning real-life train set come true
  • 5 years ago
A terminally-ill tot who loves Thomas The Tank Engine has had his dying wish of owning his own real-life train set come true. While three-year-old Jordan Reid struggles to communicate because of his devastating illness, his kind-hearted grandad has brought his favourite characters to life for him to touch and cherish. The theme is a modernised version of Brendam docks from the Thomas The Tank series and Knapford station - which include interchangeable features. There is 80 metres of track along with a modern container yard, canal basin, bridge section, coal mine, loading stage, farm, Thomas village and mainline station - entirely made up of donated items.
