Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says he cannot understand why his team were so poor in the first half of their 2-2 draw at Newcastle.

Ayoze Perez gave Newcastle a first-half lead, before Georginio Wijnaldum made it 2-0 on the hour. But Ramires reduced Chelsea's deficit with a fierce 25-yard strike and Willian equalised when his free-kick from the left sailed straight in.

Chelsea came from two or more goals behind to salvage a point for the first time in a Premier League game since 26 December 2007, in a 4-4 draw with Aston Villa.
