Cute baby seal rescued by burly fireman
Burly firemen showed a softer side when they rescued a baby seal that became trapped at low tide on a beach. The poor two-month-old pup, which is thought to be two-foot-long, became trapped after the tide went out and had to be saved by the RSPCA. The seal was rescued around 9:15pm on Thursday night in Birchington-on-Sea, Kent. Fire crews put the cub into a body bag and carried it off the beach into the care of the RSPCA, where it was alive and well.
