Runners have an amazing encounter with a tiny deer

A newborn deer showed a remarkable lack of fear when it was found by a group of runners as they jogged through woods. The fawn - believed to be just a few hours old - was struggling to stand on a path as the four men approached. This footage taken by runner Wayne Green shows the curious youngster approach and timidly rub its head against his knee. His pal warned him not to touch it - in case he left his scent which could cause the mother to abandon it. Wayne and his running mates paused hoping to catch sight of the adult to make sure the fawn was safe.
