Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood says midfielder Sandro was not part of the team that beat Fulham 3-1 because he is not currently "good enough" to be selected.
Before the match the Brazilian took to Twitter to reveal his absence of the side was not due to injury.
Spurs went on to secure a comfortable win thanks to goals from Paulinho, Harry Kane and Younes Kaboul.
