Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood says his side are a "long way" from their rivals after a humiliating 4-0 defeat by Liverpool.

Tottenham conceded an own goal from defender Younes Kaboul after just two minutes and it did not get better from there as Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho and Jordan Henderson all found the back of the net.

Spurs have only taken one point from eight league games against the top four this season and are eight points away from the final UEFA Champions League qualification spot.
