RSPCA Called To Save A Fat Toad That Got Stuck In Decking

The RSPCA was called out to a dramatic rescue when an overweight toad became stuck face down in the garden decking. An inspector attended the scene on Wednesday to come and help the chubby amphibian out of its predicament - and said it was the fattest toad he had ever seen. After trying to release the toad with his hands, inspector Jason Finch eventually had to saw through the decking to rescue the podgy creature in the garden in Norwich, Norfolk. Jason said: "When I arrived at the house I was shown to the garden by the homeowners, and it didn’t take me long to spot the little legs sticking out of the wooden decking. “I knew I had to get the little guy out as soon as possible, he must have been very uncomfortable.”
