Company Unveils The First Fabric That It Will Use To Build A Solar-Powered Balloon.

The specially designed fabric, made from polyurethane-coated nylon, absorbs the sun's rays and use the heat to give lift to the balloon.
One side of the balloon will be black, for absorbing heat, and the other side silver, for reflecting the sun, and specially placed holes will allow for hot air to be released. The temperature inside the balloon will have to be more than 25 degrees above the ambient temperature for it to take off.
