General Motors is helping the military branch find solutions to issues such as lack of access to electricity and fuel, and, on Monday, revealed its latest development.

The U.S. Army often requires transportation to places that neither have access to electricity nor a place to gas up vehicles.
General Motors is helping the military branch find solutions to such issues, and, on Monday, revealed its latest development – the Chevrolet Colorado ZH2 fuel-cell-powered electric truck.
It’s large and rugged, measuring about 6.5 feet tall and 7 feet from side to side and equipped with 37-inch tires and a suspension specially modified to handle punishing terrain.
Plus, it’s hydrogen powered. In a press release, General Motors notes, “The U.S. Army will test the Colorado ZH2 in extreme field conditions next year to determine the viability of hydrogen-powered vehicles on military missions.”
