Thousands of revellers flooded through the gates of the Glastonbury Festival as the biggest event in the music calendar got underway. More than 175,000 revellers will cram into the 900-acre Worthy Farm over the five-day event, which will play host to more than 2,000 acts across dozens of stages. Hundreds of people slept outside the Somerset site overnight to be first in the queue when the gates opened at 10am. At the front of the stampede was eager Neil Brunnock, from Brighton, who arrived on Tuesday.
